Molly & Ed: Love Life

Molly and Ed are so sweet, both as individuals and as a couple. I loved photographing their wedding because they gave off such a good vibe. They are just fun to be around.
You may recognize this road from Sara and Ryan's wedding. Molly and Sara are good friends. Both weddings were in Bloomington, though the weather was quite different this time. Molly's a total beauty and she was not shy in front of the camera.
Ed's first glance at his bride was a bit...watery. :D
How great is this party bus that they rented to transport their wedding party? Mirrored ceiling, killer sound system, leather couches and super fun lights. I think there was a TV screen too. So fun! We got to cruise around with them after the ceremony, and the party sure was inside.
Ok, so how random is this? My friend Julie (aka Jules) was at this wedding. Julie basically grew up with Ed because her best friend is Ed's sister, Annie! Did you follow all that? You just never know who you're going to run into!
Ed's cousin was the best man, and he told a sweet story about what a softie Ed has become with Molly in his life.
This is Molly's dad rocking out. They have a family band...AWESOME!
Their first dance. I love how Ed's watch sparkles in this shot. The garter
This little guy was so super sweet all day and night, but come on, there comes a time when all a little boy wants is a place to lay his head and, of course, his backpack.
Molly and Ed, congratulations. You guys have so many great things going for you! Happiness always, Faye

Ecofont

This year I'm really going to try to do my part for the environment. You know, a step up from recycling...going green. This morning I came across this article about ecofont, a font designed to cut back on the environmental (and monetary) cost of printer ink. Love it!

Time for my guys and a new baby

I had the last two weeks to enjoy being home with both Jay and Leo. The three of us had so much fun hanging out together. We stuck around cold, snowy Illinois, but looking back that didn't matter. We were together and loving life. Leo grew up so much in just two weeks. He has so many new words and phrases. My favorite is when he says "Help please." It just melts my heart. I had planned to blog a lot and work on my website (seriously, it's coming soon...seriously this time...did I mention I'm serious?), but I found that ending 2008 with my family first was what I needed to do.

I also spent some time with my brand new baby...a Canon 50D camera. Oh, did you think I meant something else? ;)

2009, and life in general, has some great adventures in store for me and my family. I feel very fortunate. On that note, here's our most recent family portrait. My friend Kelly shot it for for us. I'm always behind the lens, so it was nice to step out from behind my glass to be with my guys. Thanks Kel.

Happy '09 everyone ;)
