Michael & Kathlyn's Wedding: Love Life

Michael & Kathlyn got married last Saturday at Holy Cross Church in Batavia. They had a beautiful, winter wonderland wedding.
Kathlyn's dad stopping for a moment to smell the roses before his daughter became Mrs. Michael Mack.
How beautiful is she?!?
Kathlyn's mom glowed all day.
One of Michael's groomsmen is a Marine...can you guess which one?
The first glance...
...and the father's blessing.
Grandma was smiling every time I saw her, so I had to take this photo.
Kathlyn and Michael were so much fun to photograph. We never had to ask for a loving glance or a little smooch...they were totally in love.
Congratulations Michael & Kathlyn. You two were so much fun...I hope your wedding was everything you dreamed of, and I hope your marriage brings you much happiness always.

St. Charles North: Madrigal Dinner

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to photograph St. Charles North High School's annual Madrigal Dinner. To be honest, I had heard of the event, but I'd never actually attended one for myself. All I can say is, WOW! I never knew what a fabulous performance I was missing out on!
Their costumes were spectacular.
And what royal feast would be complete without Court Jesters?
These guys were great
Yes, that is a REAL lute, and she played it...beautifully I might add!
Dinner is served. Actually I think the main course consisted of a choice between chicken, beef or vegetarian...but this guy sure looked tasty. ;)
I love his expression. He's so 'in the moment'.

Nana Dee & The Little Licaris

All Nana Dee wanted for Christmas was a nice picture with her grandkids. We set out to accomplish that mission last Saturday, and I think we got some cute pictures while having lots of fun. Here's Leo with his two cousins, Dallas and Lexi.
Lexi giving her baby brother a smooch.
"Ring around the rosy..."
This picture cracks me up. Leo's chillin' with his Santa hat on, Hawkman (that's what we call Dallas) is as happy as ever, Lexi's checking out her pony and Nana is soaking it all in. Love it!
These two are already good buddies.
"Nana, Nana, we love our Nana."

Grampa Button and The Lee

My son is going to be the next Tiger Woods. I know that sounds crazy...like a whacked out mommy. But, mark my words, this kid's got talent. Thanks, of course, goes to my stellar athletic ability (insert laughter - I scored a goal for the other team in soccer, and I kicked my gymnastics coach where it counts during a bar routine practice).
No, the thanks goes to my dad. He bought Leo (aka The Lee) his first set of golf clubs two Christmases ago when I was pregnant. Leo lovingly calls my dad Grampa Button...or just Button.
FORE!
Even pros need their rest. Time to call it a day.

I love this one.

XO, Faye
