Silly Stork

When Leo was a baby, he used to go to a sitter's house daily while I would go to work. He had a pal there, Charlie, who was a year older than Leo. At first Charlie was just another boy who our beloved sitter, Miss Cindy, watched while his grandmother went to work. Eventually, however, Miss Cindy and her husband were able to adopt Charlie. I'll never forget the day that Charlie smiled up brightly at me and said, "The stork put me in the wrong mommy's tummy."
And so it was also true for Caroline and Kim when that same "stork" put their beautiful twin baby girls in the "wrong mommy's tummy." Luckily, back in February Caroline and Kim were able to adopt Alexis Nichole and Reagan Emma. They've been living happily ever after ever since (minus a few hours of sleep here and there).

Alexis Nichole...

I had to throw this one in the mix.  One twin always seems to try for the upper hand - don't forget I'm speaking from experience .;-)

Little Miss Reagan

Caroline and Kim, enjoy your baby girls and this new adventure. XOXOXO!

"Blok" Your Pix

I first learned about Blox from a Facebook post.  My friend from high school posted a video of her mom's new product, and I immediately fell in love.
Blox are a unique way to exhibit your favorite images, words, and art (to name just a few uses).  They are magnetic, so you never have to mess up your walls with nails or screws.
Marg Rehnberg, the creator of Blox, wants art to be accessible to everyone.  As an artist herself, she feels passionate about sharing beauty and ensuring that creativity always remains fun.

Blox are even available as business card holders.  As a side note, Marg's husband is the Rent-a-Rev.  If any of you brides are looking for someone to perform your ceremony, give Jim a call!

Blok your furniture!

Here is Marg with one of her latest paintings.  She is participating in Barrington's Passion Art Walk this week.

You can Blok your child's artwork!  Marg has even created these mini plungers to make it easy to move your Blox around.

I am so excited to start offering Blox as one of my photo products. Blox are totally unique and just a great all around product.  As they say at the BloxShop, "Get your Blox on!"

The Fifth

Baby Joey was born back in November, but the holidays and the flu kept me from meeting him until earlier this month for his "newborn" session.  He was worth the wait.  What a cutie!

Baby Joey is the fifth Joseph Francis in his family.  Though his great, great-grandpa wasn't there for the picture, he was there in spirit.

I like this one of him clutching his great-grandpa's hand, while his grandpa and daddy hold him.

Sweet dreams...
