Thill: Real Life

Is it possible for TWO two-year-olds to be calm and obedient? How about polite and adorable, to boot? Enter Tom and Sofie (above). These little angels were so much fun to photograph. They were so cooperative and playful...they made my job very easy.John is Sofie and Tom's younger brother. He is just too cute for words and as sweet as his siblings.
Ooh, those eyes!Family fun
Saturday's rain threatened to thwart our outdoor session, but we managed to have some fun in between rainstorms.Paul and Jennifer, thanks for inviting me to capture these memories. I'm glad we connected despite the 'connection' troubles. ;)

Happy Easter

Leo went to his very first Easter egg hunt last Saturday. Did I say Easter egg hunt? I'm sorry, I meant EASTER EGG-STRAVAGANZA!!! There were more than 80 families (200+ people) at the 11th annual Delleman Easter Egg Hunt.
Mr. Cool and Daddy searching for some eggs.
Found one
There are 'regular' plastic eggs stuffed with candy, but then there are gold and silver eggs which yield a special prize to the finder. We told Leo where the last golden egg was hidden and all the kids tried to bribe him, but he kept the secret. Me and my boy. Jay took charge of the camera during the hunt so that I could search for...I mean, so that I could help Leo search for eggs ;).
Happy Easter!

Baby Boy on the way

My best friend, Stacy, is having a baby boy in May. Last weekend, I flew down to 'my old Kentucky home' for her shower. I got to see my dear friends from Purdue and spend some quality time with 'Baby Boy' (aka Stacy's belly).Trey is so excited to become a Daddy.
Trey's sister, Julie, is due to have her second baby a few weeks before Stacy...a baby boy cousin to grow up with.
The cupcake cake was so cute. I just loved this little sugar baby.
Auntie Linds came through with some Boiler gear.
I got Stacy the Wild West outfit (above) and the Ocean Wonders Aquarium (below). ***Note to travelers: TSA will NOT let you carry-on anything that contains water. I speak from experience (hence the CVG airport sticker). I can't believe this thing made it through baggage claim in one piece!
Stacy's mom really does "got it goin' on." She's already a wonderful grandma to Stacy's nephew, and she's so excited for Stacy's little guy to arrive.
I love this image...little shoes!
It was so great to see all of my best girlfriends from college. Our lives are crazy and pulling us in so many different directions right now, but we never let that keep us apart. Friends like these are forever friends. I love you guys!
